Big news! Meta has announced that its new TweetDeck-style desktop UI for Threads is rolling out globally. After a few weeks of testing, the new threads.net is here, offering users more customization and monitoring options.
As Instagram chief Adam Mosseri showed in a preview, the new Threads desktop UI lets you create custom streams of updates on any topic you choose. These streams can be displayed in a single workspace alongside your “Following” and “For you” feeds.
This new setup allows you to add columns for your favorite searches, tags, accounts, saved posts, and notifications. Plus, you can turn on “Auto-update” for any column to see new content in real time.
The Threads team is also working on an update that will let you drag and drop columns to rearrange them as you like. This update is all about making your Threads experience more streamlined and efficient.
