A social media friend is someone you interact with online but have never met in person. Social media friends can be acquired through different platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The relationships you build with social media friends are based on mutual interests, likes, and comments. Although you may never meet your social media friends in person, these relationships can be just as strong as traditional friendships.
