Meta’s latest foray into the world of AI chatbots seems to be a bit of a head-scratcher.
Last September, at its Connect Conference, Meta unveiled its new AI chatbot initiative, allowing users to interact with virtual assistants modeled after celebrities. Imagine sending a message to an AI bot channeling Snoop Dogg’s vibe—but don’t get too excited; it’s not actually Snoop replying.
Instead, it’s an AI character inspired by the celebrity, though without the official endorsement or name. So, while you might get a taste of that celebrity flair, it’s all coming from a digital doppelgänger.
